About the project

When their PrecisionCraft client representative suggested using our Truckee conceptual design as a starting point for their mountain cabin, these clients knew he was on the right track. With a few key changes they were able to include three bedrooms, two full baths plus a powder room, and a spacious utility room. Special features include a designated desk space in the master for working remotely and a bi-fold window in the kitchen that connects to the outdoor bar.

About the project

The dream was to build a handcrafted log home in one of the most beautiful areas of Oregon, and that dream is starting to become a reality as the design comes to life. The structure mixes handcrafted post and beam construction with select square log walls to create a contemporary log home design. While the layout was conceived as a gathering place for friends and family with spacious shared spaces, a generous pantry and laundry space, and four extra bedrooms upstairs. In fact, two of the bedrooms are ideal for kids, as they are secluded and share a rec room.

About the project

The rustic modern appeal of the Durango floor plan concept was the inspiration for this ski home design. The modest main level boasts two bedrooms, including the master suite, and living spaces that blend indoor and outdoor features. By taking advantage of the sloping lot, they were able to add an additional master, bunk room, and theater in the basement. The lower level was also the perfect location for a spacious mudroom (with direct access to the patio) which will store their ski equipment.

About the project

As with all of our projects, this custom design was inspired by a variety of images compiled by the client. While the owners preferred an overall handcrafted log home, they used photos of both handcrafted and timber frame homes to illustrate the type of look and feel that they wanted their M.T.N designer to incorporate into their one-of-a-kind lakeside home. This included everything from rooflines, outdoor spaces, and great rooms to entryways and truss styles.
